The HG HIRES series is a corrosion-resistant linear guide with an X-arrangement. With four ball tracks, the standard series is designed for high loads and rigidity. Due to the 45° arrangement of the ball tracks, the linear guideway can take loads from all directions equally. All steel parts of the HIRES series are made of corrosion-resistant martensitic steel. The term HIRES stands for HIWIN-Resistant and offers improved corrosion protection compared to standard rolling bearing steel. The properties such as rigidity, hardness, load ratings and dimensions are the same when compared to standard steel.

Integrated distance measuring system: The PG series is a special version of the HG/QH/CG series with integrated MAGIC magnetic distance measuring system. The magnetic distance measuring systems of the HIWIN MAGIC series are optimised for measuring the distances travelled in linear movements and particularly on linear motor axes. The measuring system consists of a magnetic measurement strip on a stainless steel carrier strip and an encoder unit. The rugged housing with excellent electrical shielding and signal output in real time make the HIWIN MAGIC series the distance measuring systems of choice for demanding applications.

The models of the QW series with SynchMotion™ technology offer all the advantages of the standard WE series. Controlled movement of the balls at a defined distance also results in improved synchronous performance, higher reliable travel speeds, extended lubrication intervals and less running noise.

The miniature series is a corrosion-resistant linear guide for the most compact applications. The Gothic arch contact design absorbs loads in all directions and is particularly rigid and precise. Given its compact and lightweight design, it is particularly suited for use in small devices. All steel parts of the HIRES series are made of corrosion-resistant martensitic steel. The term HIRES stands for HIWIN-Resistant and offers improved corrosion protection. The MG linear guideway is available in a narrow, extremely compact type (MGN) and in a wide type with high moment rigidity (MGW).
